Saturday of Lazarus - Saturday April 4th

On the Saturday before Holy Week, the Orthodox Church celebrates the miracle of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead after four days in the grave! This feast, combined with Palm Sunday, marks a triumphant moment as the Church witnesses Christ’s victory over death and proclaims Him as King. Palm Sunday - Sunday April 5th

Service Hours: 8:45AM + 7:00PM
On the Sunday before Great and Holy Pascha, the Orthodox Church observes Palm Sunday, commemorating Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem after raising Lazarus from the dead. The people went out to honor Him with shouts of praise. On this day, we also receive and worship Him, acknowledging Him as our King and Lord.

Holy Monday - Monday April 6th

On the evenings of Palm Sunday through Holy Tuesday, the Orthodox Church celebrates the Service of the Bridegroom. The Sacrament is performed by a gathering of priests, ideally seven in number, however, it can be performed by a lesser number and even by a single priest.

Holy Thursday - Thursday April 9th

Service Hours: 9:00AM + 7:00PM
On Thursday of Holy Week four events are commemorated: the washing of the disciples' feet, the institution of the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist at the Last Supper, the agony in the garden of Gethsemane, and the betrayal of Christ by Judas.

Holy Friday - Friday April 10th

Service Hours: 9:00AM + 3:00PM + 7:00PM
On Great and Holy Friday the Orthodox Church commemorates the death of Christ on the Cross. This is the culmination of the observance of His Passion by which our Lord suffered and died for our sins. This commemoration begins on Thursday evening with the Matins of Holy Friday and concludes with a Vespers on Friday afternoon that observes the un-nailing of Christ from the Cross and the placement of His body in the tomb.

Holy Saturday - Saturday April 11th

Service Hours: 9:00AM + 11:00PM
Great and Holy Saturday marks Christ’s burial and His descent into Hades—a day suspended between death and resurrection. Though mournful, the services of Holy Saturday guide us towards watchful expectation.
