DANCE ADVISORY COMMITTEE INTRODUCTION

The Education Youth Culture Committee (EYCC) is now accepting nominations for the Dance Advisory Committee (DAC).  Below is a brief outline of the nomination and election process and attached is the nomination form with a description of the DAC qualifications and duties and the DAC By-Laws.   We thank you in advance for your consideration and support.

There are Five (5) DAC seats open for elections:

• According to the DAC By-Laws, Article III, Elections:
  • Three (3) recipients with the highest number of votes shall serve for a term of two (2) years
  • The two (2) recipients of the second highest number of votes shall serve for a term of one (1) year

Education and Youth Cultural Committee (EYCC) Volunteer Forms:

• DAC members as well as all youth workers must fill the Volunteer form and submit it to the church
• This is required of all persons working in the youth ministries of our church 

DAC Election / Nomination Notification:

• Attached is the updated nomination form
• Forms are also available at the church office and Narthex.
• You may contact the church office and they will also email you or FAX you a form.
• Completed Nomination forms may be turned in at the church office or scanned emailed or Faxed to the church office to the attention of:

Nomination Process

• Nominations are due Tuesday, October 11, 2011
• Nomination forms should be turned into the Church Office attention: Pauline Loupasakis
• Nominees will be reviewed for eligibility and contacted prior to October 13^th. 

 Election Process:

• Election Date:  Sunday, October 16, 2011
• Election Time:    
  • Voting starts following the Divine Liturgy  
  • Voting closes at approximately 1:00PM
• Voting will be conducted at the entrance area of church hall.
• Early voting may be available on Thursday and/or Friday, prior to formal elections.  Early voters may vote in person at the office during office hours or via email to Pauline

 Ballot Count and Notification Process:

Father Chris or an EYCC member will contact the newly elected DAC members and notify the current DAC members of the election outcome before the end of the following workday.
